Human Heart Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil ~Review

It's been a long while since I've posted a review. And here I am again, alive and kicking! haha! Let me share with you one of my favorite beauty weapons that I've been using since February this year, and now is the time to do a review. It's definitely no other than the Human Heart Nature's Sunflower Beauty Oil, an all-in-one beauty product. Here's the product:

What the product claims:

Do you believe in miracles in bottles? Experience miracles as our gold elixir works its magic. Helps lighten dark under eye circles, dark spots and pimple marks, minimize stretchmarks, lighten underarms, adds shine to dull hair, moisturizes the face and body, and more! No wonder sunflowers are known as "Happy Flowers" for the joy they bring!

(insert heart sign here) 100% No harmful chemicals. No parabens, phthalates, PEGs, mineral oil or other toxic substances. Only the good!

Dermatologist Tested

How to use: Gently massage onto skin day and night after cleansing or apply half a drop all over hair for shine.

Ingredients: premium cosmetic grade Helianthus annuus (sunflower) oil

This is my 2nd bottle by the way. They also changed the packaging (but still a pump bottle and of the same amount) and it's pretty. Check out the old packaging at the right side below.

Here's one pump.

And now's the time to enumerate its uses! Well, this is overly used, and I swear that this is really a multipurpose beauty oil, but not to the extent that you'll eat it. This one's not for cooking. Ok, so first, I use this as a skin lightener. I notice that some areas of my body are having dark patches, maybe due to friction or frequent rubbing, OR, maybe because I'm getting fat. And that's true. Anong magagawa ko? Eh ang sarap kumain e! Seriously, whenever I'm putting this on those dready areas, I feel and see that they are improving, or should I say, lightening. But it really depends on the severity of the case. Might as well give it time to see visible results.

Second, I use this on my stretch marks. Ok, you blame me now for being a fat pig. But I am guilty of having those cellulites that are really annoying. UGH. But this takes a long time before you see visible results. I think, as soon as you see those marks starting to spread and crawl all over your body, take an action as early as possible. And by that, you can still save your gorge skin without worrying and spending too much.

Moving forward, this product is also a great makeup remover. I use this particularly in the eye area, and it works great! But be careful though. I got milias on both of my upper eyelids after using this several times. I've also read somewhere that this happened to them as well. I'm not saying that this is the main reason why I got those milia seeds, but using such heavy creams or oil tend to clog up your pores, resulting to growing of milias. And I also learned that you should not put oil around your eye area because it's not that fine for that area to absorb it well. Anyway, I've learned my lesson now. I'm still using it as an eye makeup remover because it works great as I've said, but I make sure I thoroughly wash my face as soon as I finish putting the oil. Most importantly, it's best to wash and exfoliate your face so as to steer clear from those unwanted milk seeds. Nonetheless, this works great even on waterproof makeup products.

L-R: Maybelline Hypercurl Mascara (waterproof), In2it Waterproof Eyeliner Pen, Revlon Marble-ous Match Liner/Shadow (I used the Liner)

With one swipe of HHN Sunflower Oil

With total swiping. In2it's still left a mark. The red mark was due to swatching the liner too much

Next, I use this to heal my chapped and wounded lips. I've had chapped/cracked lips since high school, thus, exposed to getting sores and wounds and it's painful. So what I do is just apply it before retiring to bed. The next morning, the wounds are healed, and my lips are not that super chapped.

I also use this to moisturize some parts of my skin that definitely needs moisturizing, just like the soles of the feet, the elbows, knees, and even on hands, making it softer and lovelier to touch.

And lastly, I use this to clean my underarms at night just when I used deodorant or aluminum chloride for the whole day.

See? What more can you ask for? It's a complete beauty oil that's so inexpensive yet deliver great results. Amazing, right? As for the cons, I can't think of any, but just for some points, because it's oil, expect the heavy feel sometimes. And I should say, use it moderately (that's why it's on a pump bottle). One pump goes a long way. :)

  1. Hi,
I just started using this oil. I use it to whiten my under arm and so far it's been great. My under arm's lighter. I tend to use it until I can achieve the result that I want. And also I use it as a moisturizer. Before I go to bed, I moisturize my whole body with it. I love it. Thanks for sharing!

  3. Hi, I'm using the same thing. But it's really hard to order online or find a dealer. So since you bought this at Landmark, I wanna know now if they sell every Human Nature products at the SRP? I tried buying at the Supermarket in Robinson's Ermita but the only product they sell at the SRP is the Sunflower Beauty Oil and the rest are over the SRP. Thanks! :D

    1. Hi Chin! I'm really not sure since I don't check all the products whenever I go there. But sometimes this isn't available in Landmark, Trinoma, so my last resort is in Beauty Bar, and this retails for P130.00. :)
